What does the ADKC do?
We advocate for visibility, awareness and connection — particularly between our members. Ours is a network active in cultural policy, working to strengthen the value of culture in society and to create fair and secure conditions. We want to establish a shared platform for culture in all its forms across South Tyrol.
Who is the ADKC?
We are theatre groups, libraries, independent collectives, choirs, literary venues, lifelong learning organisations, dance groups, heritage associations, festivals, brass bands and other bands, orchestras, children’s and youth organisations, museums, galleries, concert societies, cultural outreach and education, film venues, freelance cultural workers, exhibition spaces. Culture is all of this — and then some.
South Tyrol’s culture is diverse and ever-evolving. We represent cultural workers and organisations regardless of language group, whether voluntary or professional, urban or rural, traditional or contemporary — across every municipality in the province.
